Error message on Raspi via Speedwire

Hello everybody,

Recently I Installed Smaspot241 on a Raspberry Pi to log my SMA Sunnyboy 2100 via a Speedwire piggyback.
At first everything worked well until I got a broken/corrupt SD card, now I have installed everything again but now nothing was uploaded to pvoutput.org.
When I start the script 'by hand' I get an error message from pvoutput.org.

Hi All,

Quickly solved.
The Speedwire piggyback got another IP adress from the router...
And another device got the former speedwire ip adress, that's why it did get an answer instead of complaining about 'ip adress not found'...
Everything static now.

Ok, that's nice... thanks for the feedback.
If it is unable to interpret the data, SMAspot should quit properly instead of printing all that rubbish.
It will be helpful when you can send me the output when you connect to the "other" (SMA?) device
The commandline to use is:
./SMAspot -finq -d5 -v5 -nocsv -ad0 -am0 -ae0 -sp0

Hi,

It took a while to reproduce, but it turns out the IP adress filled in in SMAspot.cfg was now assigned to...the Raspberry itself...
I gave the command in your post in a terminal.
The command is already long but the output is really long...
Maybe it is better to have the output written in a txt file.
I forgot what to add to the command to write the output in a txt file?

to send the output to a file you can add the redirect instructions as indicated below

1 is used for the std-out
2 is used for the std-err

./SMAspot -finq -d5 -v5 -nocsv -ad0 -am0 -ae0 -sp0 1>filename-out.txt 2>filename-err.txt

-a- normally these files will be written into the directory where SMAspot executabel
unless you execute the command via a cron or from . . .
then these files may be written at a default location

-b- when using the redirect there is no output on the std device till the command is completed

I gave the command succesfully

*-err.txt is an empty file.
*-out.txt is ok.
I can't attach a file here...
Can I post or mail it somewhere?

replace the 'dot' and the 'at' with '.' and '@' respectively
