Retreive only the last "SpotData"

Hello everybody,

First of all, nice job for the releases of SBFSpot, it works like a charm on my 2 sunnyboy inverters on a raspberrypi (1).

I'm currently writing a php/jquery interface to show the values of my solar installation ...
Everything's fine with a php-sqlite connector.

I would like to refresh every "x" seconds the spotvalue to get a more "funny and interactive interface" (like a sunnyview does).

The data retrieval should be fast and light (especially for a raspberry environment).

The question : Is there a way to retrieve only the latest spotvalue data via SBFSpot (I don’t see any option to do this).
A SBFSpot -SpotValue would be wonderfull ;-)

Best regards.
Laurent.

For spot only, try this:
SBFspot -ad0 -am0 -ae0 -nocsv
The only problem is the overhead of logon/logoff at each run. Until now there is no way to keep the connection open - maybe in SBFspot 4

Hello, Thank for your fast answer,

On a raspi, this run takes about 8 seconds .... (for each inverter). So a persistent connection would be wonderful ;-)

Waiting for SBFspot 4 ! :)

Regards,
Laurent.
