Hello !

Is a support for the new SMA SunnyBoy 240 planned ?

Thanks in advance

Well, just try it ;-) Most probably your inverter isn't recognised but sbfspot will retrieve the correct values

The data can be read but not written to a file.

Micro inverters? Maybe they don't have historic data available (day/month) - Only spot data
Any logfiles available?

In the CSV File from SMA SunnyExplorer they are included.

Here is the long Log-File

Something strange is going on here... device is reporting as "Communication product" instead of "solar inverter"
INV_CLASS   : 'Communication products' Sat Aug  9 13:30:54 2014
As a workaround you can change the code in sbfspot.cpp (around line 465):
    if (Inverters[0]->DevClass == SolarInverter)
to
    if ((Inverters[0]->DevClass == SolarInverter) || (Inverters[0]->DevClass == CommunicationProduct))
As mentioned before, it's only a workaround, but it should enable creation of spotdata file
I don't have a clear view on your configuration, so I need to elaborate this further... when I have some more time ;-)

Thx. Now I get the summed data from the multi-gate. That's enough for my needs at the moment

Here is the configuration.....

In the Csv-File from SunnyExplorer are the archived Data from every inverter stored.

Maybe in the future .....

Hi,
is it possible to have a Sunny Explorer CSV file example and a Wireshark trace?
Thanks
