Hello,

I'm trying to install the SBFspot as a daemon but a error pops up.

root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/sbf# ./SBFspotUploadDaemon
Configuration Error: Syntax error on line 30 [./SBFspotUpload.cfg]

Line 30 of SBFspotUpload.cfg is:
PVoutput_SID=SerialNo_1:31799

This 31799 is the System ID from PVOutput or do i need to use a different SID ? i tried the Serial Number of my SMA converter but that didnt work either...

you can find the Serial in the output of SBFspot -v

Zahler. If you read the last line of my post is that putting the Serial number in the config file wont work either. Could you give me a copy of your line 30 from this file ?

SerialNo_1 is the serial number of your (first) inverter
PVoutput_SID=200012345:31799
This is to map different inverters to different POV SID's
I'll make the docs more clear with an example

This worked ! I'll now see this in the /home/pi/smadata/logs/SBFspotUpload20140907.log:

So it uploaded the first manual run fine, but on 10:21 i started the deamon. but no info on PVoutput, same goes for the 10:30 starting.

EDIT: i think the problem is in SBFspotUploadDaemon, it will not run "sudo /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot -v -finq" before it tries to upload.
When i manually run the following commands it will work and will update my data op PVOutput:

sudo /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot -v -finq
sudo /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspotUploadDaemon

SBFspotUploadDaemon will NOT start SBFspot!
For SBFspot, you still have to setup a cron job to execute it every 5 mins as described in the documentation (https://sbfspot.codeplex.com/releases/view/117145)
There is also a Dutch version.
Once I have some more time I will consolidate all the documents into one.

I'm working on putting the Quick Reference and the original documentation together.
