Reading 2 different inverters

Topics: 5. Support

I have an older 2000HF, which is only accessible via bluetooth, and a newer SB1500, which can be accessed via TCP/IP and has no BT.

Is it possible to read both inverters with a single installation of SBFSpot ? I can only find info to access them both if they us the same protocol.

Yes, it's possible. You need a config file for each inverter and run SBFspot twice (use -cfg parameter on command line)

Can I put the data from both inverters in the same database, or do I need 2 sepparate db's ?

2nd, can I use the same "trick" with 2 cfg files for the SBFspotUploader ?

For now, I have 2 accounts on pvoutput, and I don't know (yet) how to put 2 inverters in 1 account

Yes, data of 2 inverters goes to the same database.
Only 1 cfg for the uploader. In this config, map the serial nr of each inverter to their corresponding PVoutput System ID (SID)
You can find the serial nrs in the output when you run SBFspot with -v -finq
To combine the 2 inverters on PVoutput, read all about data aggregation
