SBFspotUpload missing Temperature/Voltage

Topics: 4. Bugs
Nov 3, 2016 at 9:37 PM
Hello, I'm using SBFspot on a Raspi3. Thanks for this nice tool.

I'm also using the Upload-Daemon for PVoutput.org. I read the PV-values every 5 min.
I have now the strange behavior, that the temperature and the string voltage mostly is not uploaded to PVoutput.org, although the values are written correct to the database.
It seems it only working when the SBFspot was interrupted, maybe it depends on, when SBFspotUpload has to upload more than one datapoint !?

This is only logging, but you're right: there is more data shown when there are more datapoints to upload.
I'm sure the graph on PVOutput is complete with temperature and string voltage. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for your answer. It's good to know that you're sure that the data are at PVOutput, but I can't see anything

In daily view of today I see temperature is 27° to 27°, but in the daydata I can't see any value for temperature nor voltage in the table or graph.
This would fit to the log that only the very first temp and voltage value were uploaded at that day

....
On another day the Raspi stucked and after restart all temp and voltage values were uploaded by the daemon, but only of that day ?!?

Can you post a link to your system on pvo?

I suppose you're connecting via Bluetooth... with an unreliable connection.
Enable verbose logging (-v5) and redirect it to a file (>>sbfspot.log)
You will see several "unable to connect". At that moment you don't have spot values (temp, voltage) That's why you see those flat lines for voltage & temperature for eg 10-NOV-2016
Try moving your RPi closer to the inverter

You're right, sometime it takes two or more times to get a bluetooth connection, but it get's the spot data as far as I see.
E.g. for today no temp/voltage is visible on PVoutput, but at least some values should be available.
AFAIK the values are in the SBFspot.db, but I'm a noob in SQLite3, maybe you can have a look on the database (1 MB)
